Copmanthorpe Primary School

Copmanthorpe Primary School is looking to appoint a committed and proactive Site Manager to join our supportive and enthusiastic team. If you take pride in your work, have high standards, and want to play a key role in maintaining a positive school environment, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, active role where Health & Safety is central. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that our school site is safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained at all times. We're seeking someone who is organised, practical, and takes initiative in identifying and resolving site-related tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily site checks and general maintenance
  • Managing site security and access
  • Ensuring Health & Safety compliance
  • Liaising with contractors and service providers
  • Supporting with occasional school events and set-up

Working Pattern

We offer two working pattern options, with some flexibility:

Option 1:
Monday to Friday – 07:30 to 15:15 (with 30-minute lunch break)

Option 2 (Split Shift):
Monday to Friday – 07:30 to 10:00 and 14:30 to 18:00

30–32.5 hours per week depending on agreed pattern

Term-time only, plus 5 additional weeks to be worked during school holidays

(Holidays must be taken outside of term time)

Flexibility in working hours can be discussed during interview

Salary

  • Grade 5: £25,919 - £27,069 per annum (reduced pro-rata)
  • Equivalent to approx. £13.43 – £14.03 per hour
  • Pay award expected in April 2025

 Midday Supervisors 

 Are you passionate about working with children? Looking for a rewarding role with hours that fit round your family?

Join us as a Midday Supervisor and help create a safe, fun, and supportive lunchtime environment for our pupils!

Position: Midday Supervisor Assistant (MSA)
Hours: 11:45 - 1pm, set days TBC - please advise on availability when applying
Location: Copmanthorpe Primary School

Pay Grade:  Grade 2 - equivalent to £12.00 per hour.

What You’ll Do:
✨ Supervise students during lunchtime, ensuring a positive and respectful atmosphere
✨ Organise and encourage safe play activities on the playground
✨ Support children in the lunch hall, assisting with mealtime routines
✨ Foster a caring environment where children feel safe, supported, and engaged
